1. Acceptance
By creating an account, inviting users, uploading knowledge, or using SkillOnDemand (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, your organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service is
SkillOnDemand is a workforce practice platform. It helps organizations turn approved knowledge into practice experiences and coaching. Results depend on many factors outside our control, including the quality and currency of materials you provide, how often people practice, management follow-through, and job conditions.
3. No guarantee of results
WE DO NOT GUARANTEE any specific outcome. Without limitation, we do not guarantee improved job performance, certification, license credit, reduced errors, higher sales, compliance findings, employment, promotion, customer satisfaction, or any business or personal result. Any examples, scores, readiness indicators, or coaching are informational tools only — not warranties, professional advice, or legal/compliance certifications.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for (a) accuracy and approvals of knowledge you upload; (b) deciding who may access the Service; (c) how you use scores or readiness data in employment or partner decisions; (d) complying with laws that apply to your industry and workforce. You must not rely on the Service as a substitute for licensed professional judgment where required.
5. Factual skills only
The Service is intended for factual, teachable skills and organization-approved knowledge. Topics based primarily on politics, ideology, personal opinion, or contested non-factual matters may be declined.
6. Limitation of liability & no legal recourse for outcomes
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (a) CodeBay Labs LLC, SkillOnDemand, and their owners, officers, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity; (b) our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in the three (3) months before the claim (or USD $100 if none); (c) you agree you have no right to sue, arbitrate, or otherwise pursue claims against us arising from training outcomes, practice scores, coaching content, readiness indicators, or decisions you or others make based on the Service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.
7. Organization accounts
If you create or administer an organization workspace, you represent you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, including the results disclaimer and limitation of claims, for all users you invite.
8. Individual users
Each user must accept these Terms. Using the Service after notice of the Terms constitutes acceptance even if your organization invited you.
9. Feedback
If you send feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive right to use it to improve the Service. Feedback may be translated into English for our operations. Do not include passwords, payment card numbers, or unnecessary personal data.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. The version identifier is 2026-08-06. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms when we require re-acceptance, or as otherwise allowed by law.
