Scenario-based employee training from your own procedures.
The problem
Reading a procedure is not the same as handling the situation. People need a realistic practice run, coaching feedback tied to the approved text, and a clear view of who is ready.
How SkillOnDemand does it
SkillOnDemand builds practice scenarios from published procedures. The coach responds from that material: a step that comes from the procedure is confirmed, and a step that does not sends the person back to relearn it. Readiness shows who has it down and who still needs support.
A lockout procedure, from the page to the floor
Step 1
Procedure
Start with a safety procedure the company already uses, such as a lockout procedure for equipment.
Step 2
Scenario
The practice situation asks the learner to choose the next step when someone is about to start equipment that has not been locked out. The choices come from the published procedure.
Step 3
Feedback
Coaching feedback names the published unit. A correct step is confirmed as coming from that procedure. A wrong step points the learner back to relearn it.
Step 4
Readiness
You see who is ready to perform the task and who still needs support.
